The Hound Heater Deluxe is a safe and effective way to provide a heated dog house in the coldest areas. Despite its name, the Hound Heater can also be used to create a heated outdoor cat house when installed in our Catillac, Duplex and Cool Cat Cottage cat house models.
Energy Efficient, Thermostatically Controlled
The heater features a 300 Watt, 120 Volt heating element, with an extremely quiet (less than 15 decibels) fan to disperse heat. The Thermo sensing bulb maintains accurate temperature control. The thermostat results in energy savings, because the heater only runs when it is needed. Your pet will have a warm dog house to weather the winter months.
For very cold climates, take comfort in knowing we only build insulated dog houses. Upgrading to the seal safe door will provide additional energy efficiency.

The Hound Heater Deluxe by Akoma Dog Products, has rounded corners and the inernal heat shield allows your pet to touch the lower half of the unit without any danger of getting burned. The covered temperature control dial is located on the top of the heater for easy access. The 7 foot cord has a metal cord cover for added protection from chewing.
